Micro Finance Institutions collaborate in WASH

A workshop on WaSH / Micro Finance Institutions (MFI) / Multiple Use Services (MUS) was conducted in Addis Ababa on 21.9.2012. Around 25 participants from several MFIs, NGOs and governmental organizations (Ministries of Water & Energy, Agriculture) participated in this interdisciplinary workshop. The discussions were based on the experiences of trainees who participated in the WaSH Micro Finance Training Course in Nairobi in July 2012 organized by NETWAS. The main outcome of the workshop was the aid memoir signed by all participants. This memoir includes a six-months-roadmap to strengthen the partnership of MFIs in the WaSH sector development.
